NHS Volunteers- GoodSAM- This is an app which you can download from www.goodsamapp.org/NHS and you can sign up to support the NHS in one of 4 roles:
- Community Response Volunteer (help with shopping, medicine, and essential supplies)
- NHS Patient Transport Volunteer (transport home from hospital)
- NHS Transport Volunteer (transport of equipment between NHS sites)
- Check in and Chat Volunteer (short term telephone support to those at risk of loneliness)

Highways Works: Cumbria County Council Highways are operating a reduced operation during Covid-19 due to staff being redeployed to the front line response. During this time emergency works are being carried out:
